(1) These Regulations apply to all commercial boating operations in the inland waters of Fiji, but does not apply to a sporting event that is carried out on the inland waters of Fiji.

(2) Parts 2 and 5 of these Regulations apply to any commercial boat.

(3) Part 6 of these Regulations applies to any commercial boat used for the vocational training of guides.

(4) Part 7 of these Regulations applies to the hire of a boat by a person who is not a commercial boating operator.
