[LAT 14,655] Renewal of a learner’s permit20

(1) A learner’s permit may be renewed after the expiry of 12 months on payment of the prescribed fee if the holder of the permit has taken at least one practical driving test during the validity of the first permit.
(2) If no practical driving test is undertaken within the period of validity of the learner’s permit, no renewal may be granted unless the applicant had a good reason for not taking the test.
