(1) A pool shall be open for swimmers or bathers during such hours as may from time to time be fixed by resolution of the Council, unless the pool shall be closed for the purpose of cleaning or repairing or repainting or for the purpose of holding swimming matches, sports or carnivals.

(2) Except when attending, as competitors or spectators, at any swimming matches, sports or carnivals authorised by the town clerk, children under the age of 14 years shall be admitted to the pool only until 6.00 pm.
