[LG 28,655] Alteration of Labasa town boundaries2
- (i)All that area of iTaukei land known as Tuatua Subdivision lying on the west of Delailabasa Subdivision bounded on the north by the northern boundary of Wainikoro-Dama Road, on the west by the Western boundary on DP 4524 and then the western and the southern boundary of survey represented by SO 1559, then by part of the eastern boundary of Covata Road adjoining SO 1559, then along the southern and eastern boundary of DP 4524 to the southern side of Wainikoro-Dama Road.
- (ii)all that area of iTaukei land known as Delailabasa Subdivision lying approximately 600 metres west of Nasekula Village and bounded on the north by the northern boundary of Wainikoro-Dama Road, on the west generally by the eastern boundaries of survey plans M 1290, Bal 1332 and M 1574, on the south by Vakarairua Creek and on the east by the western and northern boundaries of survey plan M 1594 crossing NLC Lot 39 generally in easterly and northerly direction to the Wainikoro-Dama Road.
- (iii)all the area of State land known as Vakamasisuasua Industrial Subdivision situated immediately west of the Labasa Town boundaries being the eastern boundary and bounded generally on the south by the eastern and southern boundaries of survey plan M 2417, on the west, Tuatua Creek and extending generally for approximately 490 metres northerly from the centreline of Wainikoro-Dama Road.
- (iv)all that area of State land being part of land known as Naiyaca Subdivision bounded generally on the east by the left bank of Qawa River, on the south by the existing boundaries of Labasa Town.
Thence on the west partly by the right bank of Labasa River approximately 200 metres from the Wainikoro-Dama Road, then by a straight line in the north eastern direction to the 50 links access being the eastern boundary of survey represented on SO 683, then by the southern boundary of survey represented on M 2893 to the left bank of Qawa River.
The areas described in paragraph (1)(i) and (iv) above are more particularly shown verged yellow on plan PP 563 kept in the office of the Director of Lands and Surveyor-General, copies of which are available for viewing at the offices of the permanent secretary responsible for local government, the Commissioner Northern, the District Officer, Labasa and the Labasa Town Council.
